Week 18 of Beeny Knows Best, where our very own Sarah Beeny takes to the blog to answer your property-related questions.
Bristol houses are selling for up to £50k over asking price, should we join the madness or wait for market to calm down? - Mr Collier
If you are ready to buy now I'd get on with it as I think it's unlikely you will see prices coming down. The overspill from the high house prices in London means that great cities such as Bristol are very much taking the hit for people and businesses who are wanting to have a more relaxed lifestyle with as many business opportunities.
What's the future for highstreet agents? Is there still a place for them, or are they slowly being rendered redundant? - Jane
There will always be specialised agents who deal with commercial buildings, land, farms or specialist property. However, for the standard property I think it unlikely that most people won't be very soon using online agents such as Tepilo. People's trust in this 'new' way of the process is growing, and more and more people are realising that it's a necessary leap for today's digital world.
