Can we speed up the buying process?
Your solicitor will be in touch with you through the course of the transaction but it is a good idea to call them once a week to make sure matters are progressing. Respond quickly to any requests they may have. If you are buying, you should keep the pressure on your mortgage broker and/or lender as mortgage offers are slow to come through at the moment.
Can I speak to the other side’s solicitor to speed things up ?
No. They will only speak to their client
