Sudbury House is a deceptively spacious Georgian town house with fantastic views, in a quiet part of the medieval part of the town and yet only a few minutes walk from a comprehensive range of shops, theatre, cinema and restaurants. King’s Lynn is a remarkably little know gem of immense architectural and historic importance. The town was a major medieval and Georgian trading port, second only to London and Liverpool. Lynn (as it is known locally) retains some of the most beautiful Georgian buildings in Britain, including the world famous Custom House situated on the quayside directly opposite our house gives us what must undoubtedly be the finest view in the down. The Customs House designed by Henry Bell (1647-1711) was once described as the most perfect building in Britain.
