It’s been quite a first year for Tepilo and we have been delighted by the support and encouragement from users, experts, pundits and general browsers and passers by.
Among these has been Yourrightmove.co.uk and we have been very lucky to have received a very positive running commentary and regular progress updates from the site.
Here’s some comments from Zane, the man behind the site – but if you have time, check out the great articles and reviews a plenty.
“YourRightMove.co.uk was setup in July 2006 just after I moved house for the 3rd time
Strictly speaking it’s a hobby site that has expanded.
It's grown into a site where I independently look at the current market as the "man on the street" and review latest trends and how the marketchanges from a home owner’s perspective. As you can imagine the last 4 years have been an adventurous ride.
I'm very interested to see how the Tepilo site works out and I'm convinced that sooner than later the way we sell houses will change somewhat.
Innovations like your site will hit a "tipping point" where the latest generation of buyers are so computer savvy that they will expect to sell directly through Social media contact and other direct ways. At that point I think it will never be the same again in the UK's housing market.
Meanwhile I hasten to add that there will always be room for estate agents, I just think their market share will change dramatically in the coming years
Originally YourRightMove.co.uk was just a few articles that described the experiences and difficulties (and frustrations) that you go through when moving house. From speaking to friends I knew it was an experience common in the UK
From this I added an article or two and saw a little growth of interest.
